Garden Days (September 22 & 29)
Visit
Bonfante Gardens without the hustle and bustle of theme park rides. This
two-day event runs from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Stroll the gardens or listen to
volunteer Docents as they provide park tours and talk about the Gardens
and educational exhibits. No rides will be in operation. Tickets are
available at the gate for a discounted price of just $15 per person and

Pony Up! Pony Rides (September 30 & October 1)
Bonfante Gardens and Pony Up! provide children with a unique opportunity
to meet ponies face-to-face. For an additional fee, children can ride
ponies along a designated trail in the park’s Events Plaza or dress up
in western wear for a fun photo opportunity. This exclusive opportunity
to interact with ponies runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information,

Gourmet
Garden Gala (October 6)
Enjoy
a sneak peak of the Home, Garden & Gourmet Show before it opens to the
public. Bonfante Gardens will be open for this special event from 3
p.m. - 9 p.m. and will feature all of the show vendors. Plus, enjoy an
evening of wine tasting, music, and walking through the gardens. No
rides will be in operation during this event. Tickets are just $15.00

Garden & Gourmet Show (October 7 & 8)
The Home, Garden &
Gourmet Show returns to Bonfante Gardens October 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. –
6 p.m. Park guests can get tips on home decorating and gardening, attend
informative gardening workshops throughout the day and shop for
gardening and repair supplies and interior-decorating products. For

Scarecrow Alley (Weekends only, October 21-November 12)
Bonfante
Gardens partners with local community businesses and organizations to
create Scarecrow Alley. Guests will be greeted by over thirty
one-of-a-kind scarecrows designed, created and maintained by local

Annual Bonfante Harvest Ride (October 21)
The
Bonfante Harvest Ride is a cycling event designed for the entire family.
While serious cyclists can participate in the 25, 50 or 100-mile ride
through some of the most beautiful vineyards and farms in South County,
families can participate in smaller rides including a 10-mile ride or a

Annual USA Cheerleading Competition (October 22)
Sponsored by the United Spirit Association, this cheerleading
competition erupts in the Bonfante Gardens Events Plaza when youth Pop
Warner, junior high and all-star cheerleading squads compete. For more

TREE-ker
Treat! (October 28-29)
Children
12 years of age and under are encouraged to dress up and TREE-ker Treat
their way through the park! Visit all nine of our world-famous Circus
Trees to receive special holiday treats. This event is free with park
admission and runs from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Park open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. For

Bonfante
Gardens Holiday Lights™
2006 – November 24 to December 23 (18 Select Dates)
Experience the wonder of the season in a unique garden setting during
the 3rd Annual Bonfante Gardens Holiday Lights™. California's only
horticultural theme park shimmers with an extended 18
evenings of dazzling lights, an all-you-can-eat holiday feast, themed
rides, ice skating and Santa's workshop. New this year, guests can meet
Snoopy from Knott's Merry Farm as they skate under the stars and end the evening with a spectacular
holiday parade featuring floats, characters and Santa! Bonfante Gardens
Holiday Lights™ opens Friday, November 24 and continues Fridays through
Sundays through December 10 and daily December 15-23. Holiday Lights runs
