“Gran Fiesta de Bonfante Gardens” Offers Bonfante Gardens Family Theme Park Celebrates Latin Culture with Family Event GILROY, CALIF. (April 20, 2005) – Bonfante Gardens Family Theme Park celebrates Latin culture on Sunday, April 24 with an afternoon event for the entire family. Gran Fiesta de Bonfante Gardens is a fun and educational festival featuring live musical entertainment, a children’s gardening activity in one of the park’s majestic gardens and a Quinceanera Expo, showcasing the latest trends associated with the traditional event for young Latin women. Gran Fiesta de Bonfante Gardens runs 1 p.m.-6 p.m. and is free with park admission. Sponsored by radio station La Preciosa (92.3FM, 100.7 FM and 100.9FM), Gran Fiesta de Bonfante Gardens includes a variety of free live performances in the park’s Lakeside Amphitheater. Guests will enjoy traditional dance and musical performances by Ballet Folklorico Aguila Real, Regional Mariachi de Los Altos de Magda, and Banda Carrizal among others. Parents won’t want to miss the Mi Preciosa Quinceañera Expo in the park’s Events Plaza. The free expo will include cake sampling, waltz presentations, fashion shows and a Quinceanera Ultimate Package Giveaway, perfect for families and teens planning their dream quinceanera. In keeping with Bonfante Gardens’ educational mission, children are also invited to the park’s Camillia’s Garden where they can make their own potted plants! Sponsored by Radio Romantica (100.3 FM), young park guests will enjoy this interactive activity and learn more about plant life. Plus, park guests won’t want to miss Bonfante Gardens’ more than 40 rides and attractions including the world famous Circus Trees and family rides like the Mushroom Swings and Quicksilver Express.
