Bonfante Gardens Volunteers Join us for our Information Orientation Bonfante Gardens is a a non-profit educational institution whose mission is to educate and inspire families, especially children, to appreciate horticulture and the importance of trees in our lives by providing fun and memories in a beautiful garden setting. The Park is currently seeking interested Volunteers to share their many talents with our guests. No previous experience is required, on-site training is provide. A perfect experience for all ages. We encourage interested parties to attend one of these informative Volunteer Orientations from 9:30 to 11:30. No commitment is required at this orientation. Come and see what this program is all about! Garden Guides Program Bonfante Gardens is currently seeking volunteers to serve as ambassadors in our six themed gardens. Volunteers will enjoy assisting park guests, will meet new friends and enjoy being surrounded by our majestic gardens. We will provide the training, tools and resources you will need to be successful! Our fun and exciting training program will cover park information such as park history, directions, show times and dining options. As a volunteer, you will also learn interesting facts about the gardens to share with visitors. Did you know that the oak tree is home to numerous animals and insects? Have you seen a banana or coffee tree lately? Sharing facts and lore about our unique environment will ensure that guests of all ages gain an appreciation of a low-tech resource -- nature! Who Can Volunteer? Individuals who enjoy working with people, would like to work outside and share an interest and appreciation of our natural environment. No previous horticulture experience is necessary!
